Rationale
Moulay Ismail University's School of Technology in Meknes, Morocco, in collaboration with the research labs Applied Linguistics and Language Development (UMI) and Discourse, Creativity, Society, and Religions (USMBA), is pleased to announce the second edition of its international conference, "Global Perspectives Toward Advancing English for Specific Purposes, Specialized Translation, and Intercultural Encounter." Following the success of the inaugural edition, which convened experts from six countries to share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on English for specific purposes, the 2024 conference aims to further explore and advance the fields of ESP, Specialized Translation, and Interculturality on a global scale. The second edition seeks to expand the scope of discussion, encompassing a broader range of topics within ESP, specialized translation, and intercultural encounter. It aspires to attract a wider pool of experts from diverse regions and cultures, fostering a global exchange of ideas, insights, and practical applications of cutting-edge approaches and technologies.
